Ceremony Logistics for Las Cruces Public School Graduates

Las Cruces Public Schools will host the commencement ceremonies for the LCPS graduating class of 2025. All graduation ceremonies will be held at the Pan American Center, located at 1810 E. University Avenue on the campus of New Mexico State University.

Graduation Schedule:

Thursday, May 22

o 9:00 a.m. – Arrowhead Park Early College High School

o 6:00 p.m. – Centennial High School

Friday, May 23

o 9:00 a.m. – Rio Grande Preparatory Institute

o 6:00 p.m. – Organ Mountain High School

Saturday, May 24

o 9:00 a.m. – Las Cruces High School

o 6:00 p.m. – Mayfield High School

Important Ceremony Guidelines:

• Arrival & Entry:

Guests are encouraged to plan ahead and arrive early. Ceremonies will begin promptly at the scheduled times. Graduates are required to arrive at least one hour prior to their ceremony for lineup and seating. Guests are asked to use the northeast and southeast entrances to the Pan Am.

• Clear Bag Policy:

The Pan American Center follows New Mexico State University’s clear bag policy. Non-clear bags will not be permitted inside the venue. Please review the policy before arriving.

Prohibited Items:

To ensure a safe and respectful experience for all guests and graduates, the following items will not be allowed inside the Pan American Center:

• Air horns or artificial noisemakers

• Flags of any kind

• Beach balls, balloons, confetti cannons

• Glass vases

• Weapons or laser pointers

• Fireworks

• Outside food or beverages

• Large signs (over 3 feet by 2 feet)

• Large umbrellas (compact umbrellas are permitted)

• Smoking, including e-cigarettes and vaping devices

• Non-clear bags

• Animals (only ADA-compliant service animals permitted)

• Professional cameras, tripods, or selfie sticks
